Overview

This Administrator's Guide covers installation instructions and other administrative features and functionalists (where relevant) that are available within the Clone Plus for Jira add-on. Administrators should consider the advanced customization capabilities possible discussed below. The customization capabilities solve a number of JIRA issues requested by teams including: 

(tick) JRA-5147 - Modify System/Custom Fields when copying an issue
(tick) JRA-5052 - Allow different "Clone Issue" options

Product Installation

This product requires a 2 part install - a standard UPM based install and the installation of JSPs. 

UPM Install

  1. Log into your Confluence instance as an admin.
  2. Click the admin dropdown and choose Atlassian MarketplaceThe Manage add-ons screen loads.
  3. Click Find new add-ons from the left-hand side of the page.
  4. Locate Clone Plus for JIRA via search. The appropriate add-on version appears in the search results.
  5. Click Try free to begin a new trial or Buy now to purchase a license for Clone Plus for JIRAYou're prompted to log into MyAtlassian. Clone Plus for JIRA begins to download.
  6. Enter your information and click Generate license when redirected to MyAtlassian.
  7. Click Apply licenseIf you're using an older version of UPM, you can copy and paste the license into your Confluence instance.

JSP Install - NOT Needed for Release 5.0 and above

Follow the instruction in JSP Installation Instructions if you are installing an older 3.x or 4.x release.
