What's new in this release

Completely redesigned macro editor
The macro editor has been completely transformed into a clean, tabbed interface that groups parameters together based on functionality. There are now specific sections in the editor for you to add advanced styling and formatting to the entire table, individual columns, and alternating rows. This makes it much easier to customize your tables using the featured macros within Advanced Tables.

The preview pane in the macro editor is now collapsible. With a simple click, you can open the preview when you want to view your changes and hide it when you need more workspace.

For the CSV Table, JSON Table, and Attachment Table macros, we've added a drop-down to make it easier to locate your data source. Based on your selection, a set of dynamic drop-downs or text fields will appear so you can input additional information about where your data is located.

Easily locate the Advanced Tables macros
The four featured macros within Advanced Tables all have updated names to make it easier to add these macros to your Confluence pages. Now, each macro has “Advanced Tables” in its name, so your team can easily find and use these powerful macros.

We’ve also added our most commonly used Advanced Tables macro, Table Plus, to the Insert macro drop-down for quick and easy access.

For more information on the featured macros, examples, and app usage, refer to the User's Guide.
